Our Story

BACK IN 2010: MAGGIE'S POPS UP ON THE FULHAM ROAD

A hotspot for all things ’80s, Maggie’s Club opened with a bang on Chelsea’s Fulham Road, back in 2010. Home to a nostalgic myriad of 1980s tributes, the late-night club brings the eccentric period back to life through its political history, cheesy music, retro drinks and all-out fashion. Complete with Rubik’s Cube and cassette tape tables, funky animal print seating and a giant retro fish tank, The Maggie’s A-Team celebrate and relive their all-time favourite decade every week!

REPORTED TO BE A TIME PORTAL: BACK TO THE 80s!

Head down the famous Maggie’s stairs, take a snap against our wall of ‘80s vinyls and prepare to be transported to the legendary era of the 1980s. Taking pride of place in the venue, our brightly lit-up bar is the very essence of the Golden Age of hip hop, graffitied with Dirty Dancing’s “Nobody Puts Baby in a Corner”. This is where Maggie’s mixologists mix up an eclectic variety of drinks reminiscent of popular ‘80s memorabilia – featuring the PacMeister, The A-Team Van, Rubik’s Cube and more!

BEST KNOWN FOR ITS 80s MIXTAPES

If you “Wanna Dance with Somebody”, our resident Maggie’s DJ plays the best of the ‘80s from our Pac Man DJ booth, including power ballads, movie soundtracks and disco classics. Show off your best MC Hammer shuffle, sing along to Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ on a Prayer” and “Get into the Groove” to Madonna’s hits on the dance floor. For big group celebrations, reserve our private booths themed around a few of our favourite ‘80s icons from Madonna to George Michael. Enjoy a unique table service from The A-Team all night long, as your bottles and sharer cocktails are brought to you with a blast from the past!

RENOWNED FOR ITS AWARD-WINNING LOOS

Up against the very best loos in London, the famous #MaggiesToilets had won the title ‘Best Nightclub Toilets’ in the National Category Awards at the Loo of the Year 2018! They feature Roger & Jessica Rabbit doors, disco ball textured cubicle walls and light-up bathroom mirrors. And, if you thought it couldn’t get any weirder, you can listen to Margaret Thatcher’s famous speeches while you sit on the bog!

SPOTTED AT MAGGIE’S: STARS OF THE 80s

Famous appearances have been known to frequent the ‘80s hotspot on The Fulham Road, including the likes of Prime Ministers, Margaret Thatcher and Boris Johnson, 1980s movie stars, E.T. and Mr T, and iconic singers taking to the stage, Whitney Houston, Prince and so many more! Keep your eyes peeled, as Maggie’s is also known for their legendary seasonal themed nights, such as Apres Ski, Club Tropicana and ‘80s movie nights.
